However, with its popularity comes new challenges in preserving culture, safety, and order amidst the continuous flow of tourists. That's why Governor of Bali I Wayan Koster recently issued Circular Letter Number 4 of 2023, which regulates a New Order for Foreign Tourists While in Bali. This circular came into effect on 31 May 2023 and aims to maintain order, safety, security, and comfort for all parties in Bali, while also upholding the positive image of the island as a top global tourist destination.
