How to Open Multiple PDF Pages in Adobe Illustrator AI

Hello! Today we will discuss how to open a multipage PDF file in Adobe Illustrator and make it an artboard per page.

Even though the latest CC version supports opening multiple PDF pages at once, for Adobe Illustrator CS4, CS5, or CS6 users, we need to use additional scripts or plugins.

To make it easier, we have provided the link for the plugin below.

If you are curious and need this guide to open or edit PDF files with many pages at once, let's follow these steps:

How to Open Multiple PDF Pages in Adobe Illustrator AI:

1. Download the Multipage PDF script first "Click Here"

2. Open your Adobe Illustrator,

3. Then open the "File" menu, select "Scripts" and click "Other Script...",

4. Select the script that was downloaded previously, and click "Open",

5. After that, the MTools pop-up appears, select "File..." to enter the file you want to open, then enter the number of pages you want, finally click "Open",

6. Finally, wait a few moments and see the results.

Well, it's easy, isn't it? Now you can open and edit PDF files with multiple pages at once in Adobe Illustrator versions CS4 and above. Hopefully this trick helps, OK?
